What do you mean by a CBN + CBD ratio?
What we mean by that is that the CBN + CBD are two separate parts of our Calming Tincture Formula. In fact, in our latest blend, you get an effective split of pure CBD oil and high-potency CBN. These tinctures come in a variety of strengths from 1000mg to 6000mg, so you can choose the best strength for your needs.
What is CBN?
As we mentioned above, Cannabinol (CBN) is one of the minor cannabinoids of hemp. Similar to CBD, it’s non-psychoactive. This means that it won’t get you “high.” However, it does mean that it will affect your brain—in this case positively. Working to bind to key receptors in your brain, CBN helps produce a calming effect in the brain making it easier for you to get to sleep.
What is the "entourage effect" from CBD oil and CBN oil?
The “entourage effect” as it’s known is the group effect that comes when the body takes in all the natural cannabinoids of hemp. These include CBG, CBN, CBC, and CBD-V, as well as, of course, CBN. When these chemical compounds get together, they feed off of each other producing a stronger effect in the body and the mind.
How can this CBD and CBN oil tincture enhance my overall health and wellness?
Simply put, if you don’t get enough sleep per night, your body, mind, and overall health are in serious trouble. Sleeplessness comes from stress, depression, and general anxiety, and when you fail to get the right amount of sleep, you make these health problems even worse. If you want to improve your overall health, it starts with getting the right amount of sleep (7-9 hours of uninterrupted sleep for adults).
How to take CBD oil for sleep?
When it comes to dosing, things can often get a bit confusing. Regardless of the type of CBD product you have, you’ll want to start off slow, to find out what works for you. Because CBD intake is a very personalized process, you’ll want to try out a range of products (tinctures, gummies, topicals, and edibles) to determine the best intake schedule for yourself. At the end of the day, your CBD experience will be based on a variety of unique factors such as your weight, metabolism, age, genetics, product type, concentration, and more. For example, because CBD is fat-soluble, a heavier set person may see improved results as the oil becomes absorbed into the body’s excess fat cells more readily. So, when finding your ideal CBD intake schedule, start small and work your way up. You can measure your CBD intake with your tincture dropper. Apply a bit under your tongue and swish it around your mouth for maximum effect for about a minute. If you fail to feel the intended effects of your CBD, try a larger amount in a few hours or the next day.
How many drops of Calming Tincture CBD + CBN Oil do I need for sleep?
The biggest thing to remember when taking our Calming Tincture oil for yourself is that the amount you need will depend on the strength of your tincture. It will also depend on your needs. For example, our 1000mg tinctures are our most entry-level size. So, if you find that the effects of your tincture aren’t as strong as you’d like, drop a bit more.
When to take CBD oil for sleep?
It depends. When you feel like you’re ready for a quick nap or a deep sleep and you need a little help to tire you out, try a little bit of our calming tincture to start you off. However, we’d recommend not imbibing the tincture oil before you engage in something serious like heavy lifting or work-related tasks. This combination could be dangerous so only use our calming tincture when you’re in a setting to relax and sleep.
